Edith's New World

We welcome Edith Cumbo to our class.  Here are some new things that Edith has seen in our classroom: refridgerators, computers, checkerboard (math work), US!, maybe black and white people together, electricity, electric signs, electronic devices, different materials (classroom works), different materials (plastics, etc), the rice cooker, onigiri, the fish tank in Ms. Nicole's classroom, a blog, indoor plumbing, automatic pencil sharpeners, markers, fire alarms, glass doors (expanses of glass), pencils, cameras, electric piano, electric clocks, cars, cds/cd player, the community lamp. She has even seen plastic trashcans. This is so different for her that she must think that she is dreaming.  We think that she will find these new things useful and then stop thinking that this is a dream.
